For the manufacture of individual prototypes for preoperative planning, it is necessary to send the data of CT and MRI studies in DICOM format to the Laboratory's e-mail.
Requirements for CT and MRI studies:
• scanning must be performed with the maximum allowable number of slices• when scanning, it is necessary to set an isotropic voxel (voxel dimensions are the same in all planes)• for vascular prototyping it is necessary to perform CT with contrast enhancement• for prototyping of vessels and nerves, it is necessary to perform CT with contrast and MRI of the investigated area.On the study disc, the necessary information is stored in a folder called DICOM or DCOM. This folder must be archived and sent to the Medical Printing Laboratory's email address.
Indicate in the letter:
- anatomical structures to be visualized on the prototype- phone number of the doctor ordering the prototype (to clarify technical issues)
The lead time is 2-4 working days.
