For the manufacture of individual prototypes for preoperative planning, it is necessary to send the data of CT and MRI studies in DICOM format to the Laboratory's e-mail.
Requirements for CT and MRI studies:
• scanning must be performed with the maximum allowable number of slices
• when scanning, it is necessary to set an isotropic voxel (voxel dimensions are the same in all planes)
• for vascular prototyping it is necessary to perform CT with contrast enhancement
• for prototyping of vessels and nerves, it is necessary to perform CT with contrast and MRI of the investigated area.
On the study disc, the necessary information is stored in a folder called DICOM or DCOM. This folder must be archived and sent to the Medical Printing Laboratory's email address.
Indicate in the letter:
- anatomical structures to be visualized on the prototype
- phone number of the doctor ordering the prototype (to clarify technical issues)
The lead time is 2-4 working days.
